Caro's favorite place and the importance of furniture
I like to spend most of my time in my apartment either in the kitchen, which is our shared space, or in my ultra-comfortable bed. I read a lot there, listen to music or watch TV and can always snuggle up. My favorite object in my home is my old TV, an heirloom from my grandmother. Even though my parents were very strict back then and I wasn't actually allowed to have my own TV, my grandmother let me have it anyway. It's a few years old, but it still works great and its timeless design fits perfectly in its new place.
Furniture plays an important role in my home. I always like to compare it to clothing: when I wear an outfit outside that I feel comfortable in, I feel more like myself and radiate that. It's the same with furniture. If I feel super comfortable in the place where I spend most of my time, that's incredibly valuable.
Simple setup and perfect integration: Caro’s first impression
My first impression of the R1 was very positive. Not only does it look perfect in my room, but it is also surprisingly easy to assemble. Compared to other pieces of furniture I have in my room, which were quite difficult to assemble, the R1 was child's play and even required no tools. We also have a base bundle in the kitchen, which we had already tried out. My roommate and I were immediately impressed by how easy it was to assemble and how well it has integrated into our apartment and now also into my room. It really harmonizes perfectly.
I chose this setup because the R1 is the perfect height, especially considering that my bed is relatively high and I often watch TV from there. My previous solution was a bit impractical as it was too low. Now I can perfectly watch the TV from the bed. The R1 has become a new centerpiece of my room and fits in beautifully.

Paul's home story
We were allowed to visit Paul's open apartment in the center of Munich. The apartment is wonderfully flooded with light and is characterized by many charming details that reflect the personality of its friendly resident. Our R1 now serves as a record shelf and gives the room a unique touch.
