Dimensions, prices, possibilities
The base is the R1 Cube at €139: 33 × 33 × 33 cm inside — the exact fit for records, books and folders. The R1 Cap finishes it off at the top. Two modules as a bedside table or twelve as a shelving wall: you decide, the system scales with you. You'll find ready-made setups in our bundles — from the compact Entry to the large Highboard.
From room divider to office shelf
As a room divider, the R1 structures open spaces while staying accessible from both sides. In your home office it holds folders and work materials; in the living room it becomes a TV board or sideboard. Your record collection gets its stage with the record shelf, and compact rooms are solved with the cube shelf.
Quality that lasts
Robust panels, ash wood edges, precise magnetic connections: the R1 is built for decades — and for change. You can expand instead of throwing away.
Your shelving system in three steps
Choose a colour. Put together your configuration. Assemble tool-free. The easiest way to start is the configurator — or one of our ready-made bundles.
Shelving alternatives:
What other storage options are there?
Chests of drawers, sideboards, or highboards can be an alternative or complement to your shelving. They often have doors and can feature additional design elements such as metal or glass. Display cabinets, fruit or wine crates, and chests can also serve as shelving alternatives.
Interior design tips for your new shelf – what should it look like?
Create contrast with the color of your wall before placing your shelf. A black shelf looks elegant against bold red or yellow walls, while a white shelf stands out against light blue tones. Consider how many items you want to put on your shelf—less is often more. Try shelving cubes; they offer a variety of design options. And don't forget to display your personal treasures!
Questions I should ask before buying a shelf:
In which room should your shelf be located?
How much storage space do you need? What items should go on the shelf?
Could an alternative to shelves better meet your needs?
Do you prefer orderly forms, or can you be a little more creative?
Consider all these aspects before choosing your perfect shelf!
