Our founders – a vision becomes reality
Jonathan Knyrim, Jakob Hunold, and Tom Etz founded Kiyo in 2022 with a clear mission: to rethink furniture. Inspired by Japanese minimalism and German craftsmanship, they developed a magnetic shelving system that combines simplicity and sustainability. They dream of a world where every room radiates harmony – with furniture that makes your life easier and stands the test of time.
From Düsseldorf to the world
Founded in Düsseldorf, Kiyo has conquered the furniture world – from urban lofts to the Expo in Osaka, where we will present our vision in 2025.
